{"id":77716,"date":"2021-07-09T04:54:45","date_gmt":"2021-07-08T18:54:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/ballarat\/?p=77716"},"modified":"2021-07-07T13:07:22","modified_gmt":"2021-07-07T03:07:22","slug":"input-wanted-on-shortfall-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/ballarat\/news\/input-wanted-on-shortfall-report\/","title":{"rendered":"Input wanted on shortfall report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>THE City of Ballarat is calling for community input on its Draft Community Infrastructure Needs and Gap Analysis Report.<\/p>\n<p>The report collates research on the city\u2019s public facilities and population forecasts, identifying particular areas where more infrastructure is needed in future planning.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the public are invited to come forward to inform the municipality on what this community infrastructure needs.<\/p>\n<p>This infrastructure includes community centres, public halls, sports pavilions, aquatic facilities, libraries, early years facilities, senior citizens centres and sports facilities.<\/p>\n<p>Residents can have their say online or in-person over the next week.<\/p>\n<p>An online survey can be accessed until 14 July via <strong>mysay.ballarat.vic.gov.au\/community-infrastructure-planning<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Two in-person information sessions will also be held, the first of which on 8 July from 6pm to 8pm at the Sebastopol Library, 181 Albert Street.<\/p>\n<p>The second session is scheduled for 14 July from 2pm to 4pm at the Phoenix Building, Foyer 25, 25 Armstrong Street South.<\/p>\n<p>Following community input, the draft report will be finalised and used to inform the Draft Community Infrastructure Plan.<\/p>\n<p>The draft 10-year plan will then be available for community feedback in October.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>THE City of Ballarat is calling for community input on its Draft Community Infrastructure Needs and Gap Analysis Report.
