EXTRAORDINARY stories will be told over breakfast next Friday at 6.30am at the Regent Cinema.<\/p>\n
Dr Richard Harris, who played a major role in the rescue of 12 boys and their soccer coach in a cave in Thailand, will join CEO of the KIDS Foundation Dr Susie O\u2019Neill for a morning of inspiring stories.<\/p>\n
Dr O\u2019Neill created KIDS Foundation in 1993 after witnessing first-hand the lack of support children with serious injuries receive after leaving the hospital.<\/p>\n
She said many children supported by the KIDS Foundation have suffered life-changing physical injuries.<\/p>\n
\u201cA lot of them will come to the foundation and they\u2019ve given up on life, then they have one meeting that then leads on to a program where they\u2019re healthier now and they\u2019re achieving and doing some great things,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
