WARRENHEIP Tennis Club has received the only ANZ Tennis Hot Shots Community Grant in the region this round.<\/p>\n
Ballarat ANZ branch manager Ben Neil presented a $10,000 cheque to the grassroots sports group last week, which will fund the building of a storage and shelter shed.<\/p>\n
This facility will support the Club\u2019s Hot Shots program which aims to establish and strengthen the tennis skills of between 40 and 50 local children from age five to 15.<\/p>\n
Club president Sarah Tustin was grateful to be one of 10 successful applicants within this grant round.<\/p>\n
\u201cHot Shots is our only program, so this is very important for us. Because of this grant, our young people will have shelter from the Ballarat weather,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Mr Neil was pleased to see a local Club receive a financial boost.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe’re beyond thrilled that Warrenheip Tennis Club has been chosen to receive the ANZ Tennis Hot Shots community grant. We thank them for applying and congratulate them on their success,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Tennis Australia CEO Craig Tiley welcomed the facility\u2019s improvement.<\/p>\n
