{"id":79295,"date":"2021-09-11T09:55:59","date_gmt":"2021-09-10T23:55:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/ballarat\/?p=79295"},"modified":"2021-09-11T11:31:19","modified_gmt":"2021-09-11T01:31:19","slug":"ballarat-health-to-send-covid-testing-team-to-daylesford","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/ballarat\/news\/ballarat-health-to-send-covid-testing-team-to-daylesford\/","title":{"rendered":"Ballarat Health to send COVID testing team to Daylesford"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BALLARAT Health Services has announced a rapid COVID-19 testing team is being deployed to Daylesford following identification of exposure sites and a positive case in the town.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA pop-up drive-through testing site will be set up in Daylesford at Victoria Park this afternoon (Saturday 11th September),\u201d a statement released by the health care provider said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLocated at Ballan-Daylesford Road Daylesford, no appointment is required.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The BHS COVID-19 website said testing site would be open between\u00a03pm and 7pm, today Saturday, 11 September and 9am to 7pm on Sunday, 12 September.<\/p>\n<p>COVID-19 tests by appointment can be made at locations like Daylesford Health at 17 Hospital Street by calling 5321 6654, Kyneton Health at 7-25 Caroline Chisholm Drive by calling 5422 9900 and UFS Respiratory clinic at 15 Errard Street North by calling 4311 1571.<\/p>\n<p>The move to set up the drive-thru testing site at Daylesford comes after three exposure sites were declared in the town on Friday night by the Department of Health and Human Services.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you live in \u2013 or have visited &#8211; the Daylesford region in the past 4 days (since 7 September), please check the list of COVID-19 exposure sites immediately and follow the instructions on the website,\u201d said the BHS statement.<\/p>\n<p>Springs Medical on 10 Hospital Street was declared a tier one site between 3.15pm and 4.30pm on Wednesday, 8 September.<\/p>\n<p>Cliffys Emporium Daylesford at 30 Raglan Street is also a tier one site between 3.20pm and 8.45pm on Tuesday, 7 September.<\/p>\n<p>Under a tier one declaration people the DHHS says, \u201cAnyone who has visited this location during these times must get tested immediately and quarantine for 14 days from the exposure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Panchos Caf\u00e9 at 117 Vincent Street is listed as a tier two site between 10.20am and 11am on Wednesday, 8 September.<\/p>\n<p>According to DHHS advice, \u201cAnyone who has visited this location during these times should urgently get tested, then isolate until confirmation of a negative result.
