I came in search of work as there wasn\u2019t a lot of choice in my hometown of Maryborough.<\/p>\n

What is your favourite spot in the city?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Home, but when out, our beautiful Lake Wendouree.<\/p>\n

What is your earliest memory?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Me eating a toffee apple and standing next to my brother in a bouncinette while mum hung-out the washing.<\/p>\n

What is the most courageous thing you\u2019ve ever done?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Saved myself from choking.<\/p>\n

To give-up smoking.<\/p>\n

All manner of things, but you can\u2019t beat a good pork or chicken stir fry with rice\/noodles.<\/p>\n

A new off-the-showroom-floor car.<\/p>\n

What building would you choose to be?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Anything that was inspired\/incorporates nature and is sustainable. Google search the BIQ building in Hamburg, Germany, as an example.<\/p>\n

My home.<\/p>\n

Any type of music that takes me to a happy place.<\/p>\n

Why do you think humans are your personal slave (yes, we have a cat).<\/p>\n

Never to have taken up smoking. I have been smoke-free for nearly 12 months.<\/p>\n

My mother, my wife, my children, my radio family (audience).<\/p>\n

What is your favourite holiday destination?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Canada\/Alaska.<\/p>\n

What music and television do you like?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I love all genres of music, but I\u2019ll least listen to country & western. As far as TV goes, I\u2019m hooked on things like Billions<\/em>, The Blacklist<\/em>, Clickbait<\/em>, The Good Doctor<\/em> and Sex Education<\/em>, to name a few.<\/p>\n

The only thing you get from looking back is a sore neck.<\/p>\n

Had absolutely no clue at all, little did I think I\u2019d end up in radio.<\/p>\n

The world and what it has become and what it may not be for our children and grandkids.<\/p>\n

That the grass is NEVER always green on the other side. It\u2019s tinged with brown and sometimes black.<\/p>\n

Be who you want to be and not what others want you to be.<\/p>\n

What is your most embarrassing parenting moment?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Not knocking on my teenage son\u2019s door. I\u2019ll say no more.<\/p>\n

What is the funniest thing you remember one of your kids saying, or doing?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sitting in a restaurant with my young boys and one of them getting very excited seeing a truck pass, so excited was he, that he yelled, and I mean yelled-out, \u201cdad look, a fruck, a big fruck!\u201d It was hilarious but mortifying at the same time.<\/p>\n

What do you think is the most difficult thing about being a parent? <\/strong><\/p>\n

1.Trying to understand the emotional state of a teenager at any given time and then being able to respond in the correct manner that will give them the confidence to open up to you and not push them away. 2. Knowing when NOT to say anything.<\/p>\n
