CARTRIDGE World\u2019s Sharon and Braeley David have been busier than ever this week, providing a much-needed community service alongside their printing supplies.<\/p>\n
Offering free COVID-19 vaccination certificate shrinking and laminating for seniors and people with disabilities, the mother-daughter team have supported up to 300 residents daily who\u2019ve lined up for help at the yellow shopfront.<\/p>\n
Since they launched the service on Tuesday, 26 October, initially spreading the word via Facebook, Sharon David said most of Cartridge World\u2019s phone calls have been inquiries about vaccination certificates.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo many people have been ringing for help, but this is why I love living in a country town,\u201d she said. \u201cWe look out for each other here, and that\u2019s why we\u2019re doing this free of charge.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re really happy to offer this for our customers that don\u2019t have mobile phones, because they need to show their vaccination certificate just to go out for a meal.\u201d<\/p>\n
With attention to detail, the Davids have even punched a hole through each shrunken document in case customers would like to attach it to a lanyard, or their keys.<\/p>\n
Mark Marsden dropped in for assistance on Monday morning.<\/p>\n
\u201cI heard about this on 3BA radio,\u201d he said. \u201cOfficeworks were taking bookings, so I gave Cartridge World a call instead, and it\u2019s been very convenient.\u201d<\/p>\n
