{"id":80475,"date":"2021-11-04T04:54:42","date_gmt":"2021-11-03T17:54:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/ballarat\/?p=80475"},"modified":"2021-11-03T17:59:49","modified_gmt":"2021-11-03T06:59:49","slug":"live-musics-return-a-success","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/ballarat\/news\/live-musics-return-a-success\/","title":{"rendered":"Live music\u2019s return a success"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MUSIC lovers from across the region and beyond were treated to a special night on Saturday, with Play On Victoria street party outside of Volta signalling the return of live music events.<\/p>\n<p>With a capacity of 400 people, the event saw five regional Victorian musicians including Gareth Liddiard, Jess Ribeiro and Skyscraper Stan take to the stage in Field Street.<\/p>\n<p>Booking agent at Volta Lachy Anderson said it was a great night, especially considering it was organised in under a week.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_80477\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-80477\" style=\"width: 200px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-80477\" src=\"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/ballarat\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2021\/11\/IMG_8160-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-80477\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Flynn Daris and Lucy Knight came by to check out the acts.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cTo do something on that scale at a six-day turnaround was pretty awesome,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a bit surreal, usually the industry doesn\u2019t work like that with a six-day turnaround. It was all systems go.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_80478\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-80478\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-80478\" src=\"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/ballarat\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2021\/11\/IMG_8166-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-80478\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Basil Byrne &#8211; A.K.A.
