The latest Miners men\u2019s team signing said he can\u2019t wait to hit the court with his new club.<\/p>\n
\u201cBallarat has a rich tradition of winning and community support,\u201d he said. \u201cWith the pandemic and only a limited number of fans at the games the past two years, I am excited to have the opportunity to play in front of the Miners\u2019 fans.\u201d<\/p>\n
Men\u2019s head coach Luke Sunderland is excited to be drawing up plays for the 27-year-old who averaged 19.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and just over two assists last season.<\/p>\n
\u201cPreston will add great versatility on the court and great leadership and maturity off it,\u201d Sunderland said.<\/p>\n
\u201cEveryone that has dealt with Preston speaks highly of him and I\u2019m looking forward to him having a full season in the NBL1 South.<\/p>\n
\u201cPreston has experience at many levels all over the world and will greatly help our new group at both ends of the floor.”<\/p>\n
Prior to last season, the 195-centermetre guard racked up valuable court time in Europe.<\/p>\n
\u201cI’m hoping to bring some of the experience and knowledge that I’ve gained while playing overseas,\u201d Bungei said.<\/p>\n
