The pieces will vary from student artworks to competition posters and learning tools, alongside informational panels written by Dr Whetter to help the audience \u201cfathom the history\u201d behind each item.<\/p>\n
The majority of works were selected from Fed Uni\u2019s Mount Helen archives, with the rest donated by of the artists\u2019 families.<\/p>\n
Gallery curator Shelley Hinton said the exhibition will be their first time focusing on a specific era of one of Ballarat\u2019s colleges.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve had exhibitions where we\u2019ve drawn a number of historical works from our Mount Helen collection that help tell the story about whatever theme we\u2019re conveying,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut this is the first we\u2019ve centred on a particular timeframe, 1907 to 1940, and invested in it for an entire series.\u201d<\/p>\n
