AS the City of Ballarat is calling on members of the community to provide feedback on its new Municipal Early Years Plan.<\/p>\n
The plan outlines the City\u2019s strategies to improving the health of children aged zero to eight years old, as well as ways it hopes \u201cto reduce inequity and vulnerability, as well as improve long-term social and educational outcomes for children and families.\u201d<\/p>\n
City mayor Cr Daniel Moloney said the plan linked to other key documents, including the Council Plan, Municipal Health and Wellbeing Plan, and Community Vision.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe need your feedback on the plan to make sure we are really hitting the mark with the services, programs, and projects we are planning for children in Ballarat,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are looking forward to hearing from the community about this plan because we really want to make sure we are doing everything we can to make sure Ballarat is a great place for kids.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur growing city really needs our residents\u2019 input into plans like these to make sure the right services, facilities, and programs are being provided for children and families into the future that are inclusive of the needs of all our community.\u201d<\/p>\n
The plan\u2019s goals include making sure children feel loved and safe, having children\u2019s materials basics needs met, being healthy and learning, and fostering a positive sense of culture and identity for children.<\/p>\n
