CRESWICK Golf Club members have made their call on office holders for the next twelve months at club\u2019s annual general meeting last weekend.<\/p>\n
Incoming president Russell Cartledge outlined the ongoing challenges for the club as the RACV Goldfields golf course is still closed after January\u2019s flooding at Creswick, with a re-opening not anticipated until the middle of this year.<\/p>\n
In the interim, golf clubs in the district have offered reciprocal rights, enabling Creswick members to continue to play and thanks were given to Midlands, Buninyong, Hepburn and Mount Xavier for their assistance.<\/p>\n
Russell also thanked Creswick members for their ongoing support during this difficult time.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe executive of captain Tim Kelly, treasurer Rob Rosenow, secretary Russell Neville, vice president Ronnie Dryne and committee members Jill Hopper, Brian Anstey and Ben Puvanendran have been exceptional in the support and advice they have given me,\u201d Mr Russell said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis has enabled me to keep the lines of communication open between our club and RACV which is undertaking a massive restoration of the course, as well as the hotel itself.
