This is what\u2019s on offer at Michael Unwin Wines next Saturday, as local Colombian couple and Elemento One dance teachers Stefi Tello and Victor Barrantes host their first ever Wine Not Latino Time? community celebration.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re inviting people to have a new and different experience involving Latino culture that\u2019s family and friends-focused,\u201d Mr Barrantes said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is something that hasn\u2019t been done before in Ballarat, and through music, food, and our positivism, we\u2019re going to bring a good energy to the winery.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou don\u2019t need to know how to dance, it\u2019s about the experience and having fun. Have some wine, sweat it out dancing, and get an extra glass… and wine not?\u201d<\/p>\n
Ms Tello said a typical night out in their home country is a joyful workout, and what is inspiring the gathering.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf you go to one place to go dancing, you dance from the time you arrive, until you finish. That\u2019s the energy we want to share with everyone,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
The couple met the winemaker Michael Unwin at an event and instantly felt a good vibe and saw an opportunity to work together.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe love the place, his energy, and attitude. It will be held in the winery\u2019s undercover area, with barrels to stop the wind coming in, and fires burning,\u201d Mr Barrantes said.<\/p>\n
