CARS classic and new will shine at SpringFest, as the Peter Stevens Motorworld Show-n-Glow sparkles in Lake Wendouree\u2019s gardens precinct.<\/p>\n
The showcase is open to all makes and models, with about 80 Ballarat Road Rodders members bringing out vehicles, alongside new models from Peter Stevens.<\/p>\n
The dealership\u2019s director Matthew Newey said supporting the community is key to their business.<\/p>\n
\u201cSpringFest is the pinnacle of community events, so we\u2019re always proud to be sponsoring it, and making a donation,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ll have some new Nissan vehicles down there, a selection of Ram Trucks, and a full selection of MGs.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ballarat Road Rodders president Bayden Roberts said he\u2019s \u201cloving the idea\u201d of bringing the Show-n-Glow back after three years.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s awesome to be asked to come on board and help, and we\u2019re very proud to be part of it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt coincides with our Rod Run. People can expect to see everything from Chevs to Fords, Chryslers to Dodges, Morris Minors to Vauxhalls, right through to late-model stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n
Choice awards will be given by the director, SpringFest ambassadors, Rotary Club of Ballarat, and Ballarat Road Rodders, while Rockin\u2019 music from MissBehavin\u2019 will have dancers up and shakin\u2019.<\/p>\n
Cars and spectators can enter for a gold coin donation. Vehicle entry is at Carlton Street between 8am and 9.30am.<\/p>\n
Rotary Club of Ballarat\u2019s SpringFest is on Sunday, 27 November, 10am to 4pm, presented by Optus. All funds raised go back to the community.<\/p>\n
More than 500 market stalls will be based in the gardens precinct, alongside events and activities.<\/p>\n
