Their Art at the Framers evenings run once a month at Accent Framing, and business secretary Sue Clarke said anyone is welcome to attend the free events,<\/p>\n
\u201cWe enjoy being part of community activities. We thought there was a need for artists to get together, especially if they work during the day,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is just for a couple of hours, and so far, around eight people have been coming.\u00a0 We have met a few times now, and it has been popular.<\/p>\n
\u201cPeople don’t have to be members to attend. They just need to make contact to indicate their interest.\u201d<\/p>\n
Workshops are also facilitated throughout the year by the society, with creatives Trudy Nicholson, Brian Lawrence, and Jon Lam offering their skills, techniques, and practices to other artists so far in 2022.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are fortunate to have many talented members willing to share their expertise,\u201d Clarke said.<\/p>\n
