I can\u2019t wait,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe monologue I\u2019m performing is self-written and inspired froma&#8230; show that I cowrote and performed in last year called <em>Big Women<\/em>, with Ladderframe Theatre.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wanted to create a scene that had multiple emotional shifts, and moments without dialogue so that I could showcase my abilities as an actress.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCompeting on the world stage is a dream come true and I\u2019m super excited to share my work.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>World Monologue Games founder Pete Malicki said the competition continues to grow in popularity year-by-year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat I love most about the games is seeing amazing performers from all around the world come together in a single event,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMore than half the world\u2019s countries have participated, although I won\u2019t feel entirely satisfied until we get our first submission from Antarctica.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rickard is one of 90 competitors from six categories who have secured a World Monologue Games global finals position.<\/p>\n<p>Actors from more than 100 countries have been part of the competition.
