Photo: LILY MARTIN<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cA highlight was a concert we added quite quickly at the last minute, Issie Hart\u2019s Vintage Songbook. It was a traditional style cabaret classical crossover, with a beautiful pianist, and something we\u2019d like to program again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hart said there\u2019s a power to cabaret\u2019s intimate nature that can \u201cspeak to the heart\u201d of each person watching.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt can break through barriers.
