PARTS of Victoria Park and some near by roads have been closed ahead on the Spilt Milk music event this Saturday.<\/p>\n
Access to Victoria Park itself was restricted on Monday, 28 November and is expected to stay that way until at least Wednesday, 7 December.<\/p>\n
That also means roads inside the park like Cedar Drive, Poplar Avenue, Caretakers Drive, Elm Avenue and Pine Avenue will not be accessible to traffic until 6pm on 7 December.<\/p>\n
Oak Avenue will be closed from 6am today and remain so until 6pm on Sunday, 4 December.<\/p>\n
Outside the park, Gillies Street, between Arthur and Winter streets will be closed to traffic southbound from 8pm on Saturday, 3 December until 1.30am on Sunday, 4 December.<\/p>\n
The Victoria Park inclusive play space will be closed on the day of the event.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the City of Ballarat has issued a warning that loud music will be audible from the concert site on Friday between 4pm and 10pm, and Saturday from 9am to 11pm.<\/p>\n
