VICTORIAN Concert Orchestra is set to perform at Cave Hill Creek to benefit Beaufort Skipton Health Service.<\/p>\n
The 40-piece touring ensemble\u2019s fundraising concert will be staged on Sunday 6 August from 2pm, showcasing emerging and established musicians and conducted my musical director Gerald Keuneman.<\/p>\n
Solo performers including lyric soprano Veronica Iredale and tenor Nicholas Matters will also join the orchestra to sing pieces from operas and musicals.<\/p>\n
Cave Hill Creek managing director Tim Chandler said the accommodation and events venue will be a spectacular setting for orchestral sounds.<\/p>\n

For more than 100 years, the Victorian Concert Orchestra has toured regional areas of the state, however, the Cave Hill Creek gig will be their first in the area post-pandemic.<\/p>\n
Matters is part of the Opera Scholars Australia program and Iredale is experienced in singing as a soloist with the orchestra.<\/p>\n
Cave Hill Creek is set between Glenlogie and Raglan, north-east of Beaufort, and has previously hosted the orchestra in 2012 and 2018.<\/p>\n
