THE team behind a Ballarat-based lending firm are being recognised with two state nominations in the 2024 Better Business Awards.<\/p>\n
Sovereign Lending staff are in the running for Victoria\u2019s Best Regional Office while senior lending specialist Austin Murphy is a finalist for the state\u2019s Regional Broker of the Year.<\/p>\n
He said the two nods reflect the company\u2019s dedication to their customers.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey\u2019re a great reward for the effort we\u2019ve put in to build the business to a really strong level and it\u2019s almost entirely centred around the relationship we have with our clients,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s certainly a testament to the strong client relationships we\u2019ve built. For me, I work hard to build good relationships with my clients and I love working with people and helping people.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo get recognition for that is great. This is our first time being nominated in the Better Business Awards.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sovereign Lending was established in 2017, with Mr Murphy joining the company in 2019 after nearly four years with National Australia Bank.<\/p>\n
The upcoming Better Business Awards will mark its 11th iteration, with more than 670 broking industry representatives to attend the awards\u2019 five state events early next year.<\/p>\n
Sovereign Lending staff will be among those present for the Victorian announcements in Melbourne on Thursday 14 March.<\/p>\n
Mr Murphy said he\u2019s looking forward to brushing shoulders with industry elite.<\/p>\n
