Michelle Bailey

Born and raised within Ballina Shire, known to many by maiden name of Wittleton in Alstonville, with grandparents and great parents input to infrastructure in Ballina and Alstonville.

Having been part of local business for more than 25 years employing locals and supporting local business.

I am committed to community. My dedication is showcased by extensive Community fundraising involvement in various initiatives, including current role as President of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Support Group for Ballina Shire.

Leadership and effective team communication skills evident through my President role in the successful north coast Show and Shine Car show and Love Lennox Festival as a member Lennox Chambers, these amongst others highlights my ability to co-ordinate significant community initiatives and team collaboration.

Having worked within local government many years bringing valuable knowledge and understanding of processes both within and between Management and Councillor roles.

My vision includes driving business, economic, and development growth in the while Shire by working collaboratively within the Council to implement change and seize opportunities.
