How long in the ward community?

A Skennars Head resident for more than 29 years.

Community involvement?

Twenty-nine years of patrolling membership in Lennox Head-Alstonville SLSC. Eight years membership with Lennox Head Residents Association.

Guiding values or principles?

As a first venture into government, I will resist any political antics that detract from the real task. Council needs to concentrate on projects that are affordable, financially viable and necessary for the ratepayers and I feel it is time to throw my hat into the ring to ensure continuation of the previous two and a half years of very positive progress by Mayor Cadwalleder and her supporters. Council needs to be more co-operative with local business.

Top three issues facing your area?

Security of the CBD. Local expertise replace major city-based consultants for more appropriate designs in consultation with the ratepayers. I will endeavour to keep chamber proceedings civil and to the point.
