Retired medical scientist and now casual swimming instructor.

How long in the ward community?

40 years in Northern Rivers, 10 years in Alstonville.

Community involvement?

Rotary member for 15 years, current President of Alstonville Rotary, active patrolling member and Instructor at Ballina SLSC Church co Ordinator and office volunteer at LinC Alstonville.

Guiding values or principles?

Equity, equality and fairness in having everyone being able to access community facilities if they choose. We have a duty of care to protect our environment in which we live.

Are you or have you been associated with any political party or cause?

I have been and am associated with a political party and a number of causes.

Preferential voting suggestions?

Candidates who mostly closely align with my values and I think I could work with if elected.

Campaign budget?

Abour $4,000, all self funded.

Top three issues?

More footpaths. Better street lighting. Upgrading parking and accessibility at sporting facilities.
