Current occupation and background:

Retired, after a 25-year career in construction and corporate real estate.

How long in the ward community?

My partner is originally from Ballina and graduated from Ballina High in 1981. We moved back to support his aging mum in 2021.

Community involvement?

Volunteering with the Australian Seabird and Turtle Rescue, joined the Ballina Greens in July 2022 and joined the Ladies of Ballifornia group. I work one day a week at Lifeworks Pilates Studio.

Guiding values or principles?

The core pillars of the Greens Party reflect my values, even though I may not always agree, the overarching views are aligned.

Are you or have you been associated with any political party or cause?

The Greens Party – as a first-time candidate, having the support and guidance of the party has been invaluable.

Sharing preferences with other progressive-minded candidates.

Campaign budget?

All campaign funding is from small donations.

Top three issues?

Affordable housing. Flood mitigation measures. Protection and enhancement of the environment.
