THE multi-awarded and acclaimed folk band, The Heart Collectors, plays in an enchanting, intimate garden concert in Tyalgum on May 31.

As the band prepares to embark on its second headline tour of the United States, this boutique show in the picturesque village is presented in a private, nature-filled setting and coincides with the Village Market Day.

The folksters are known for their acoustic harmony-led ballads and Bowie-esque sonic soundscapes, which they say are guided by an essence of inspiration, honesty of love, and the nature of the cosmos.

The Heart Collectors is a passionate group of multi-instrumentalists, including Kymrie Henge on vocals, percussion, piano, and bodhrán, and Reuben Loire on vocals and acoustic and electric guitars.

Mobius Barnaby is on vocals and cello, and Tristan DaFoe features on vocals, mandolin, banjo, and guitar.

Over the past seven years, the band has been sought after by some of the biggest music conferences and festivals in the world, including South by South-West, Folk Alliance International, NAMM, Canadian Music Week, and Global Music Match.

Following the success of the band’s ‘Austin to Boston’ USA tour in early 2024, which included 13 sold-out shows, the tour was extended for six months following invitations to perform across Canada and the USA.

The album The Space Between was named a finalist for Best Album at the International Folk Music Awards 2025, alongside Sierra Ferrell, Kaia Kater, and Aoife O’Donovan.

Tickets include a complimentary bus transfer to and from Flutterbies Cottage Café to the garden venue for a seamless experience.

The afternoon features a guest performance by Mattie Barker.

Food and drinks, including barbecue, boutique gins, local beers, and artisan baked goods, will be available for purchase.
