One of the world’s most highly regarded tribute shows, Legends in Concert, is heading to Twin Towns for four shows on January 4 and January 5.

The longest-running show in Las Vegas history, the international extravaganza and stellar cast recreate the music and magic of Freddie Mercury, Cher, Tina Turner, Elvis Presley, Cyndi Lauper and Stevie Wonder.

Apart from uncanny resemblances, the world-class performers honour the stars with astonishing talent and a vibrant lineup of backup singers and dancers.

The show debuted in the heart of the Vegas strip in 1983 for an initial six-week engagement. It has since earned multiple industry awards for Show of the Year, Entertainers of the Year, Grand Slam and the prestigious Show of Shows from the International Press Association.

Performing as Cyndi Lauper, Nellie Norris is a versatile and accomplished performer. Now based in Vegas, she has performed in several shows and won the Newcomer of the Year award.

Growing up listening to the King, Elvis Presley was Bill Cherry’s first musical inspiration. A tough call in a world of artists paying homage, Cherry’s stage show is more than a tribute; it is his life’s work.

Annika Starander Weaver brings a long history of performing as Cher. From a Swedish musical family in Sweden, Starander Weaver grew up performing in her hometown and has built a career headlining a variety of bands in pop, rock, burlesque and country genres.

Fernando Castro is the first Freddie Mercury tribute artist to headline on the Las Vegas Strip and is widely regarded as the only tribute act with the gift of Mercury’s voice.

As Tina Turner, Lori Mitchell Gay’s star power and versatility delivers a vital and authentic tribute to the superstar.

Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Billy Buchanan has a deep musical heritage and became a disciple of all the soul, blues, and rock trailblazers from a very young age. The exceptional award-winning songwriter pays homage to the great Stevie Wonder with all the depth and talent one expects in taking on the role.

The unique show plays four concerts over the Saturday and Sunday. Twin Towns shows run on Queensland time.
