The ANZAC Day ceremony will bring locals together in remembrance and reflection.

THIS ANZAC Day, Thursday 25th April, our community will gather at the Brunswick Heads Cenotaph for a very special Dawn Service, commemorating 80 years since the end of Second World War.

Beginning at 5:00am, the ceremony will reflect on the sacrifices made by Australian and New Zealand servicemen and women, and offer a moment of unity, remembrance, and respect.

Community members will gather to honour ANZAC Day during a special dawn service in Brunswick Heads.

This years’ service will hold particular significance as local children take an active role in honouring our ANZACs.

Through heartfelt songs, readings, and personal reflections, they will share their thoughts and memories of what Anzac Day means to them and to their families.

Their involvement brings a touching and hopeful connection between past and future generations.

Following the service, a respectful march will proceed around the block, returning to the Cenotaph where the children will place handcrafted crosses into the ground—symbolising those who have fallen, those who were lost, and those whose stories live on through us. The morning will conclude with a community breakfast at the Brunswick Heads RSL.

All families, residents, and visitors are warmly invited to attend and take part in this important day of remembrance and reflection.

Lest we forget.
