THE Birds of Condor Super Bowl 9 Hole returned to Byron Bay Golf Club on Monday, delivering on the Big Game. Big Lunch. Big Swing promise.
Held in partnership with Young Henrys, the day brought together golf, live Super Bowl action, music and delicious food for everyone.
Players of all abilities took part in the four-player Ambrose, with winning teams from both the front and back nine facing off in a winner-takes-all putt-off to decide the overall champions.

Jesse Love, Jesse Goggins, Blair McDonough and Kate Hayley bagged the win, along with serious bragging rights and prizes from TaylorMade, Virtual Golf Ballina, Young Henrys and Birds of Condor. Longest drive winners walked away with custom Birds x Sue The Boy championship rings, while nearest-to-the-pin winners were rewarded with Pit Viper sunnies and Birds prize packs.
Byron Bay Golf Club provided a stunning backdrop, with the course and clubhouse buzzing throughout the day. The mix of on-course play and big-screen Super Bowl coverage kept the energy rolling well beyond the final holes.
Birds of Condor general manager Kristi McDonough said the focus remained firmly on inclusivity and enjoyment rather than fierce competition. The event once again reflected the brand’s broader ethos, welcoming, local and unpretentious, an approach reinforced through its ongoing partnership with Young Henrys, which continues to feel like a natural fit. With an American inspired menu from Bowerbird Dining, music across the fairways by DJ Breaks on Wax and Mish Kelly, and a strong social turnout added to the sense that the day was as much about connection as it was about golf.

The event also raised funds for Joel and Nikki, a Suffolk Park family continuing their recovery journey following Joel’s stroke last year, with proceeds raised through on-course initiatives and a delicious post-round Traeger barbecue feast.
As the final groups wrapped up and the crowd filtered out, the success of the day was clear. The Birds of Condor Super Bowl event once again showed how sport, community and purpose can come together, in the brands true Byron Bay style.
