ENGINEERING and environmental consultancy McGloin Baker has been named Business of the Year at the Tweed Business Awards, in a night that saw 500 people pack the Seagulls Club to celebrate local success.

The Cabarita-based business is run by directors Paul Baker and Ben McGloin, with a small team providing advisory and management services in the construction industry.

The pair won multiple awards on the night, including Excellence in Small Business, Employer of Choice and Excellence in Business & Professional Services. Each also took out an award in the outstanding leader category.
