Festival shines a light on food and flavours of the region
The event this year also included the popular Flavours of Lennox competition, which highlights local chefs and restaurants.
Local schools and community bands played across three stages with a focus on shining a light on small businesses.
The Lennox Head Chamber of Commerce raised additional funds and brought in new sponsors, which helped provide a free shuttle bus service.
The chamber started the event in 2013 as a way to promote local business.
“The day served as a fantastic platform for our sponsors and businesses to showcase their commitment to our community, further enhancing the experience for all attendees,” a chamber spokesperson said.

“The crowd was nothing short of amazing, and it was a joy to see everyone enjoying better seating and soaking up the sun, enjoying many of the food options from our businesses, who gave us so many choices and flavours.”
Shelter Lennox won the flavours competition with its grilled baby octopus, which featured fresh lime, green chilli, and crispy garlic crunch.
Crowds also flocked to the annual dog show, with proceeds from the raffle donated to the Northern Rivers Animal Service.
The competition included tail wag, handshake, dash, talent and best dressed. Nearly 120 dogs were decked out in party hats and costumes, with one a standout in a surf lifesaving cap and shirt.
This year also featured morning surf and exercise sessions organised by Surf Getaways and Let’s Go Surfing.
