PRIMEX Field Days will relocate from Casino to Lismore in 2026.

The three-day exhibition attracts more than 400 exhibitors, 1,400 suppliers and around 30,000 visitors, covering sectors from agriculture and forestry to fishing and natural resources.

It also showcases food and primary production through producers, chefs, educators and innovators.

Organisers said the move reflects Lismore’s recovery and future as an agricultural hub.

“This isn’t just about changing locations, this is about backing a community that’s backing us,” director Bruce Wright said.

“Lismore’s post-disaster recovery story aligns perfectly with Primex’s evolution.

“We’re not leaving our community behind; we’re leading it forward to where we can deliver the best outcomes for our farming and rural communities.”

Primex is expected to inject more than $4.5 million into the Lismore area each year. The Lismore Showgrounds, which is undergoing a $4.7 million upgrade, will provide the new venue.

President of the North Coast National – Lismore Showgrounds, John Gibson, said the partnership was long overdue.

“This partnership will deliver enormous economic and cultural benefits during a crucial time in our city’s recovery and growth,” he said.

Wright said the event remained grounded in community values while preparing for future growth.

“We’re backing Lismore because Lismore is backing the future of regional agriculture,” he said.

Norco Primex Field Days will run at the Lismore Showgrounds from May 21 to 23, 2026.
