Murbah Sporting Car Club – show, shine and sign up

CAR enthusiasts will gather at Condong Bowls Club on Sunday, February 16, for the Murwillumbah Sporting Car Club’s (MSCC) Car Show & Shine and membership sign-up day.

The free event, which starts at 10 am, welcomes all vehicles, from race cars to classic and street models.

Attendees can enjoy a sausage sizzle while exploring the club’s offerings, with Junior, Senior, and Family memberships available.

Founded in 2018, the MSCC provides a platform for car lovers and drivers of all levels to connect, learn, and compete.

The club focuses on fostering a supportive and fun environment, hosting events such as hill climbs, motorkhanas, sprints, and club races.

Developing driving skills in a safe and controlled setting is a key priority, with programs tailored for both novice and experienced drivers to test their abilities.

The club’s Young Drivers Program offers participants as young as 12 the chance to learn essential driving techniques in a supervised environment.

Focus areas include basic vehicle control, car maintenance, and road safety, equipping young drivers with the skills needed for everyday road use and potential motorsport involvement.

Beyond driving, the MSCC fosters camaraderie among drivers, mechanics, and motorsport fans.

Monthly meetings, held on the second Thursday of each month at the Condong Bowls Club, provide members with opportunities to plan events and connect with like-minded individuals.
