I have been serving the Ballina Shire community as a councillor for more than 20 years. I am currently a company director, Justice of Peace, Registered Civil Celebrant, Chair of the Australian Coastal Councils Association, Deputy Chair of Rous County Council and Northern Rivers Joint Organisation. I am a past director of Summerland Credit Union and a former Regional Manager of Northern Rivers NSW Business Chamber.<\/p>\n
I am standing on her track record of honesty, integrity, hard work, getting things done and putting locals first.<\/p>\n
It has been an honour to serve as your mayor, leading the rebuild after the floods, a record 2024-2025 $78 mililion investment in new infrastructure. I kept my promise and got the Dunoon Dam back on the table.<\/p>\n
I will continue to push for affordable accessible housing for everyone, and fight for our fair share of state and federal government funding, a new SES headquarters, CCTV cameras to help curb crime, a clean safe secure water supply, a dredged healthy Richmond River, Cumbalum Interchange, beautification of our towns and villages and provision of more walkways and cycleways linking Ballina to Alstonville and Lennox to Byron, protection of our environment and heritage, and many other issues.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
