IN October Business Month, Tweed Shire Council is delivering free activities to empower local businesses to thrive.<\/p>\n

The NSW Government’s Small Business Month: Northern Rivers Expo in Tweed Heads on Tuesday, October 15, will anchor the agenda of events.<\/p>\n

The Expo at Twin Towns includes a day of innovation, networking, industry professionals, emerging talent, the latest advancements and trends, and exclusive access to informative sessions, and will run from 1 pm to 7 pm.<\/p>\n

Council has compiled 10 free events on either side of the Expo, tailored to cater to the Tweed’s diverse business community. These aim to provide invaluable opportunities for skills development, networking, knowledge sharing and celebrating business triumphs.<\/p>\n

Director of Corporate Services Warren van Wyk said the opportunities offered through October reflected the Council’s ongoing commitment to engagement and supporting businesses to thrive.<\/p>\n

“This year, there is a strong focus on future growth and innovation,” he said.<\/p>\n

“It’s a time to celebrate our community’s resilience and innovation and to look forward to the future with optimism and determination.<\/p>\n

The activity schedule includes a series of ‘What’s Coming’ conversations on key developments and upcoming opportunities, business open days, sustainability and branding workshops, networking events and information on working with Council.<\/p>\n
