ST ANDREW’S Village Ballina will become part of integratedliving Australia with the transfer of its Community Care Services taking effect from Monday, December 16.<\/p>\n

It will involve the transition of clients, services and the workforce as part of the agreed sale.<\/p>\n

The handover was pushed back a fortnight to allow more time for client and family engagement.<\/p>\n

The St Andrew’s board made the decision to step back from direct community care provision to place greater focus on its “core offerings.”<\/p>\n

St Andrew’s CEO Todd Yourell said consistent care for all clients and ongoing employment for staff has been a top priority in the handover.<\/p>\n

“Integratedliving already has a strong presence in the NSW Far North Coast through its community care and wellness programs, and both organisations share the same values for clients, staff, and the broader community,” he said.<\/p>\n

“This partnership allows St Andrew’s to deepen our commitment to residential care while supporting clients and employees in a seamless transition.”<\/p>\n

St Andrew’s will retain its residential aged care and retirement living facilities.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, integratedliving will expand its services to include a full range of community and home care options, including Home Care Packages (HCP), Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) Home Care, DVA Community Nursing, and Transition Care.<\/p>\n

They also support the Commonwealth Home Support Program, with wellness services and specialised home care support through the Ballina Wellness Centre and Village Home Care program.<\/p>\n
