STONE & Wood Brewing Company has announced its 2025 Festival of the Stone lineup, and early-release tickets for the June 14 event are now on sale.<\/p>\n

Alongside the annual roster of homegrown talent and the unveiling of the brewer’s latest batch of limited-edition winter Stone Beer, crucially-needed funds will be raised for Byron’s Fletcher Street Cottage.<\/p>\n

Byron Community Centre general manager Louise O’Connell said it was a unique and meaningful event.<\/p>\n

“Festival of the Stone brings our community together to party for a purpose, and we’re so grateful to be the charity partner again in 2025,” O’Connell said.<\/p>\n

“The funds raised will help Fletcher Street Cottage continue providing essential support to those experiencing homelessness and hardship in the region.<\/p>\n

“With the community behind us, we can make a real difference in people’s lives.”<\/p>\n

Fletcher Street Cottage manager Damian Farrell said the cottage saw first-hand the impact of the local housing crisis and the rising cost of living.<\/p>\n

“The support from Festival of the Stone helps us provide vital services \u2013 hot meals, showers, laundry, advocacy and now our Women’s Emergency Relief Fund \u2013 to individuals and families who need it most,” Farrell said.<\/p>\n

“Together, we’re building a stronger, more compassionate Byron.”<\/p>\n

The rich bill of talent includes multiple ARIA Award-winning singer-songwriter Josh Pyke and WA indie-rock duo Old Mervs, known for catchy hooks and breezy guitars.<\/p>\n

The Belair Lip Bombs indie rockers perform with hooky, heartfelt lyrics and Newcastle post-punk quintet Dust \u2013 which has a dark, jazz-infused sound with fearless experimentation \u2013 will also appear.<\/p>\n

The bold energy of Gen Z powerhouse Felony will show her stripes after landing Triple J rotation and a 2024 Queensland Music Award for Best Rock Song.<\/p>\n

Meanjin’s alternative rock sextet Strayfold, with its vigorous blend of violin, deep baritone guitar and soaring female vocals, completes the lineup.<\/p>\n

Stone & Wood’s head of strategy and creative, Paul Tansley, is thrilled with the lineup.<\/p>\n

“We can’t wait to bring music, fresh beers and good vibes back to Byron Bay on June 14,” Tansley said.<\/p>\n

“It’s always a great community meet-up, and we’re especially proud to support the incredibly important work of Fletcher Street Cottage once again.”<\/p>\n

The event also promises DJs, food trucks and the Malt Disney kids area.<\/p>\n
