The Northern Rivers Rail Trail claimed top honours for Adventure Tourism, and Pipit Restaurant took gold in the Tourism Restaurants &amp; Catering Services category.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_114587\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-114587\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-114587\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/29\/2025\/08\/AnaerialviewoftheNor_57711.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-114587\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">An aerial view of the Northern Rivers Rail Trail. Ecoasis, a nature retreat at Uki in the Tweed Valley, was awarded gold for Ecotourism, while Contained in Nimbin Accommodation won in the Self-Contained Accommodation category. Photo: SELENA EVISON<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Byron Bay Bluesfest and farm-to-table restaurant Potager \u2013 A Kitchen Garden were inducted into the Hall of Fame, recognising their sustained excellence in the tourism industry.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They are great examples of our products that succeed on a national level and have that national relevance and reach,&#8221; Destination North Coast general manager Michael Thurston said.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_114589\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-114589\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-114589\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/29\/2025\/08\/HereCometheMummiespe_67158.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-114589\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Here Come the Mummies performing at Bluesfest 2025. Photo: KURT PETERSEN<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mr Thurston said the awards, which are the only remaining regional tourism awards in the state, were being held in partnership with the NSW Tourism Association, which supports business development and advocacy across the state&#8217;s visitor economy.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It means that the awards are completely aligned with the state and national awards, so winners immediately go through to being finalists for the state awards and it gives them a much better chance of national success,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_114590\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-114590\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-114590\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/29\/2025\/08\/PotagerrestauralatCa_68948.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-114590\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Potager restaural at Carool in the Tweed hinterland. Let&#8217;s Go Surfing \u2013 Byron &amp; Ballina took silver in Adventure Tourism, while the Lismore Lantern Parade received bronze in Festivals &amp; Events.
