A FUNDRAISING event in Brunswick Heads will support women in the Northern Rivers who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness.<\/p>\n

The SHIFT Project will host A Very SHIFTi Christmas at the Brunswick Picture House on Tuesday, December 9 from 7pm.<\/p>\n

SHIFT is a local charity providing housing, education and employment pathways to help women regain stability and independence.<\/p>\n

The organisation operates social enterprises including Linen SHIFT and the Ngali Design Initiative, which offer practical skills development and income opportunities.<\/p>\n

Comedian Mandy Nolan will perform a one-off show at the event.<\/p>\n

Guests will receive complimentary canap\u00e9s and can purchase cocktails from the bar.<\/p>\n

Homewares and hand-printed linen cushions made through the Ngali Design Initiative will be available to buy on the night at special event prices, with all sales supporting SHIFT programs.<\/p>\n

Tickets cost $40, with proceeds going towards ongoing services supporting women in the region.<\/p>\n
