She said the couple, who share a passion for travel, are aware that visitors are seeking more experiential offerings, like the company’s bush tucker and crab-catching cruises.<\/p>\n
The Speddings plan to keep the current team and do not intend to make significant changes, aside from offering popular experiences such as sunset cruises more frequently.<\/p>\n
“Our son Will and his girlfriend Crystal are studying marine science so they’re going to bring on a bit more of that educational element too,” Donna said.<\/p>\n
With the crew often rescuing birds injured by fishing hooks on the river, the couple plan to expand the company’s conservation and community initiatives with new support for Currumbin Wildlife Hospital.<\/p>\n
Looking ahead, the Speddings also have plans to introduce photography and art workshops, rainforest walks and stargazing experiences in the region, as well as collaborations with local providers offering cookery classes, pottery, beach horse riding, whale watching, snorkelling and diving.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
