Hand-crafted wines from the heart of the peninsula

Oakdene has created two different styles of wines to display nuances in the winemaking of the region.

Oakdene is a boutique, family-owned vineyard featuring a cellar door, amazing food, accommodation and gardens.

Located in Wallington on the stunning Bellarine Peninsula, the region’s cool maritime climate offers excellent conditions for producing low yields of high-quality fruit.

The Geelong region has an exceptional reputation for producing Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Shiraz, and rightly so, as the cool climate is perfect for those varieties.

Oakdene has created two different styles of wines to display nuances in the winemaking of the region.

The Single Vineyard “white label” wines showcase a premium signature style with developing primary and secondary flavours, structure, depth, and body, often with extended time in both new and seasoned oak.

The Bellarine Peninsula “blue label” is an early drinking, fruit forward style, spending time in either stainless steel tanks or seasoned oak.

A visit to the Oakdene “Upside Down House” cellar door is a unique and wondrous journey and a great place to start your wine tasting voyage on the Bellarine Peninsula.

Enjoy a seated tasting experience inside the cellar door and create your own selection of premium wine samples from the entire Oakdene range.

With up to 45 minutes for your tasting, you have time to relax, learn about Oakdene, hear some history and chat about the wines.

The cellar door is manned by a small passionate team, who over the years, have developed an intimate understanding of the region and a deep knowledge of Oakdene wines and love to chat to guests about the range of award-winning wines (and help you decide which wines to take home).

The cellar door is open seven days a week from 10am-4pm.
