Sarah Fenton and Jason Smith have dedicated the past six years to transforming the award-winning Bellarine Smokehouse into the thriving business it is today, featuring acclaimed smoked fish, fish pâtés, smoked salts, and smoked olive oil.

Starting out small at local farmers markets and gradually expanding their wholesale operations, they always envisioned a larger retail space, larger than their shipping container shop situated at their shed door.

With a shared passion for all things food and wine, they have recently launched the brand-new Bellarine Smokehouse + Provedore in Drysdale.

This new venture fills a significant gap in the local market, allowing both locals and tourists to sample their products and purchase high-quality, food and homeware items sourced locally as well as from top producers worldwide.

Their philosophy emphasises support for small and artisan producers, leading to a carefully curated selection of charcuterie, cheese, pantry staples, sweet treats, and homewares.

With ambitious plans ahead, they are also in the process of developing upstairs, a cooking school, event space and private and shared dining experience.

Partnering with Tom Brossard, known as Chef TomTom, they will feature globally inspired dishes highlighting local Bellarine produce. Stay tuned for the upcoming wine shop once all necessary permits and licenses are secured.

As the holiday season approaches, they have all your food and gifting needs covered, including gift cards, and they invite the community to head down and explore what they have to offer.

Open seven days a week 9.30am – 5pm at 16/93 Murradoc Rd Drysdale 3222.
