Changing how care is delivered
Aunty Grace deeply values being part of the local community, with a sense of connection making their gathering at the Sphinx Hotel so special.
AGED Care in Australia is evolving, and with the new Support at Home program now officially underway, the way care is delivered is shifting toward greater personalisation, flexibility and independence.
In Geelong and across the Bellarine, Aunty Grace is proud to be at the forefront of this important change, walking beside clients as they embrace a new era of community-based support.
The commencement of the Support at Home program marks a major step forward. For the Aunty Grace team, it reinforces what they have always believed – that people deserve clarity, confidence and genuine human connection as they navigate their care journey.
While the system has changed, Aunty Grace’s commitment to the community remains the same: to ensure that every person it cares for feels supported, understood and truly at home.
Aunty Grace has always championed personalised care, and the new Support at Home program further strengthens its ability to tailor services to your needs and goals.

Local care partners and care staff across Geelong and the Bellarine are here to guide you through every step, ensuring a smooth, reassuring transition where you feel informed, supported and confident.
Being part of this community is something Aunty Grace deeply values, and it was this sense of connection that made its recent client gathering at the Sphinx Hotel so special.
The team was delighted to see so many members of the Aunty Grace community join, along with their friends and loved ones. The room was filled with warm conversations, shared stories and plenty of laughter – a testament to how strong, vibrant and connected the community truly is.
The morning began with tea, coffee and delicious cakes, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
The group was treated to a wonderful performance by Jeanette, whose music brought joy to the room. Her Frank Spencer act was a highlight of the day, with everyone joining in the laughter.
A relaxed lunch followed, giving guests the chance to sit together, chat and simply enjoy the company of one another in a comfortable, friendly setting.

Events like this are more than social gatherings; they reflect what matters most. Aunty Grace is not just a care provider – it is part of your lives, part of your neighbourhood, and part of the memories being made across this wonderful region.
As aged care continues to evolve, one thing will remain unchanged: Aunty Grace will continue to deliver better care, stronger support and genuine connection.
Local care partners and care staff will keep showing up with heart and dedication.
Aunty Grace is proud to care, proud to support, and proud to belong to the community.
