Helping you live at home longer

Client lunches allow Aunty Grace to ensure the voices of older Australians remain at the centre of every decision.
AT AUNTY Grace, the mission is simple: help older Australians live at home longer with comfort, dignity, and truly personalised care.
From day one, Aunty Grace has believed that Home Care should be better — more responsive, more personal, and centred on the needs and wishes of each client.
That commitment means listening closely and acting boldly for the people Aunty Grace serves.
Beyond day-to-day care, opportunities are created for connection and conversation.
Client lunches, for example, bring people together, allowing Aunty Grace to hear their experiences, and ensure the voices of older Australians remain at the centre of every decision.
These gatherings are more than social occasions; they are a reminder that aged care should always be shaped by the people it exists to support.
It was this same spirit of listening and advocacy that recently took Aunty Grace to Canberra. Last month, Aunty Grace proudly presented at the Senate Inquiry into Aged Care.
This invitation followed months of engagement with members of parliament, during which the urgent need for more Home Care Packages was consistently raised.
Too many older Australians have been left waiting and worrying because the right support was not there when they needed it. In Canberra, these stories were shared and Aunty Grace called for things to be better.
Aunty Grace is proud of the effort it has made, which, alongside those of other advocates across the sector, have helped achieve progress.
Following the inquiry, the federal government announced the release of 20,000 new Home Care Packages before the end of October, with another 20,000 to follow by year’s end. This is a vital step forward in reducing wait times and ensuring more Australians can continue living safely and independently in their own homes.
