Discover Christian College at two events in May

I’D like to warmly invite you to two special events during May at Christian College Geelong.

Whether you are considering the exciting beginning of prep or the milestone transition into year 7, these events offer an inspiring window into our programs, our people and the values that make Christian College truly special.

Three campuses will hold ‘Discover Prep’ sessions.

Tuesday 19 May – Junior School, Belmont

Wednesday 20 May – Bellarine campus

Thursday 21 May – Surf Coast campus

All sessions run between 9.30am and 10.30am.

Three campuses will hold ‘Discover Year 7 and Beyond’ open evenings.

Tuesday 5 May – Bellarine campus

Wednesday 6 May – Middle School, Highton

Thursday 7 May – Surf Coast campus

 

All sessions run between 6pm and 7pm.

Discover Prep sessions invite you to step directly into a prep classroom and take part in the learning yourself, discovering the wonder our students experience every day.

Christian College’s prep program is unparalleled.

Strong foundations in literacy and numeracy are complemented by rich explorations across interdisciplinary studies and Christian education.

Our classrooms are fun, inclusive and caring places where children feel safe, known and celebrated. Learning is enriched by weekly timetabled sessions with specialist teachers – in music, Japanese, art, health and PE, digitech and library.

Afterwards, we welcome you to stay for light refreshments, meet our staff, chat and ask questions.

For families preparing for the transition into secondary school, our Discover Year 7 and Beyond open evenings provide an engaging and informative introduction to secondary life at Christian College.

In year 7, there is a focus on fostering positive relationships, a strong sense of belonging and shaping future pathways for learning.

Early in term 1, the camp is a wonderful introduction to the exciting times that lie ahead – in year 7 and beyond.

You’ll hear from students and staff about the vibrant life of our school, learn how our curriculum engages every learner, explore extracurricular opportunities on offer, and enjoy live musical performances, showcasing our world-class music program.

Afterwards, you’re welcome to stay for light refreshments, chat with us, ask questions and find out more. I would love to meet you on the night, so please feel welcome to introduce yourself.
