Leopold Community Bank celebrates 10th birthday
THE Leopold Community Bank Branch has injected more than $1.2 million back into the local community during the past decade.
The branch, located at Gateway Plaza, will celebrate its 10th birthday next week, with giveaways and prizes up for grabs.
To celebrate on Wednesday, April 3, shareholders and past and present directors have been invited to a high tea at Leopold Memorial Pavilion.
There will also be a cutting of the cake at the branch at 11am, with birthday cupcakes to be given out.
Branch manager Craig Taylor said over the past 10 years, with the support of the local community banking with them, the Leopold Community Bank Branch of Bendigo Bank had been able to put back more than $1.2 million back into the local community.
“This is in the form of dividends, grants, sponsorship and donations for worthwhile events and projects to assist the broader community.”
The Leopold Community Bank has been involved in all types of projects ranging from the purchase of toys for the Leopold Toy Library, to their recent project working with the many partners at the Leopold Memorial Reserve pavilion project.
