Australian country performers The Andy Golledge Band are starting their Young, Dumb & Wild album tour this month, performing eight shows around the country.

Their new album will be released on April 19 with the band heading to Anglesea on June 15 for a performance at The Sound Doctor.

The tour will run across eight dates with their first performance in New South Wales on May 24.

Golledge released his debut album Strength of a Queen in 2022, which won Best Independent Country Album or EP at the 2023 AIR Awards and was nominated for Best Country Album at the 2022 ARIA Awards.

The first song of the new album, “Country Band”, was released late last year and the title track “Young, Dumb & Wild” is out now.

“It’s anything but a song about being young, dumb and wild; it’s more about holding onto that inner child that helps you create more freely,” Golledge said.

“It reflects my efforts to come to terms with performance anxiety and setting myself free on stage.”

Golledge’s band includes Leroy Lee, Caitlin Harnett, Nick Ryan and Josh Pitz.

They played a sold out show in January at the Tamworth Country Music Festival.

“It was our first ticketed show in all the years playing the festival, and to sell it out felt amazing,” Golledge said.

Golledge also featured in 2019 TV series Robbie Hood, and this year will see him return to the screen as he features in the coming drama Thou Shalt Not Steal.
