ART AND CRAFT IS COOL AT art’sKool

October 25, 2018 BY

Kaz McGlynn produces paintings, sculptures, ceramics, public art installations and many creative products.

The arts’Kool Studio in Ocean Grove is set to showcase some beautiful creative work by chief executive oficer Kaz McGlynn, along with kids, teens, adults and people with a disability.

As a celebrated Barwon Heads artist and art educator, Kaz produces paintings, sculptures, ceramics, public art installations and many creative products. She asks us to stop and enjoy the precious scenes that linger for just a moment and then are gone.

Depicting the romance of living by the sea, she reflects on her personal emotions, ideas and memories of interpersonal relationships and the world around her through her artwork.

“My artwork for me is like creating a memory, a thought that you want to treasure forever,” Kaz said.

It is apparent she is willing to share her joys and sorrows in a quirky way through her work, which leaves quite an impact on us.

A workshop will be held during the Bellarine Arts Trail between 11am and 2pm for both children and adults so come along and experience this fun and creative space.

Artworks include ceramics, sculpture, painting and mixed media.

Bellarine Connections of GenU, who support people with a disability and connect and engage with locals in the community, will also be exhibiting.

On show will be photography from the project, featuring ‘People of Ocean Grove’ and ‘Pets’ by Bellarine photographers Kirsten Waugh and David Salmetti.

art’sKool@KAZWORKS is at 1/20 Evisist Road, Ocean Grove, where Kaz has after 16 years fulfilled her dream of creating a purpose-built award winning arts and craft centre. To register, head to artskool.com.au or phone 0437 582 772.
