Auty flies in with high heels

January 29, 2018 BY

Kelly Auty will go backwards in high heels at Flying Brick Cider House to celebrate International Women’s Day.

The venue is set to host Backwards in High Heels, a brilliant show by the well-known Australian signer and entertainer Thursday March 8.

The show is based on the music, lives and fashion of great female singers who were trend setters, games changers and activists who left a legacy influencing artists and audiences to this day.

Cider House general manager Bree Braden believes it was a unique and exciting show to host, especially on International Women’s Day.

“It’s a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women, and Kelly is a passionate advocate for the role of women in music, so it’s a perfect fit,” Bree said.

Renowned for her spirited live shows, Kelly’s lightning fast costume changes along with her humour and sensitivity to the women she portrays is mesmerising.

“Kelly is described as fun and fabulous – which is also the Cider House motto – so we think it’s a perfect match,” Bree said.

Guests will enjoy a delicious two-course dinner and show for $85, or show only tickets are available for $25 per person, with drinks at bar prices.

Limited tickets are available; this very special night of celebration is guaranteed to sell out fast.

“The dynamic show is touring Australia throughout 2018 and we are looking forward to being one of the first shows for this year,” Bree said.
