Barrel In, Warmp Up and Grab a Bargain at WINE SALE

Scotchman Hill’s ever popular bi-annual Barrel Hall wine sale returns over the May 19-20 weekend from 10am until 5pm.

Located inside the winery’s big, beautiful barrel hall, the sale will feature fantastic case specials on bin ends, export overruns and a few cleanskins; due to popular demand, Scotchmans Hill’s Mystery Dozens will be on offer, too.

Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc and an award-winning backvintage Shiraz will be among the wine varieties available for sale, with free wine tastings available both days.

Chief winemaker Robin Brockett said the wine sale was a great opportunity for wine lovers to visit the winery, explore the Barrel Hall and stock up on their favourite drops in the lead-up to the cooler weather.

“The prospect of winter doesn’t seem so bad if you picture yourself in your favourite chair by the fire with a warming glass of wine,” he said.

“If you haven’t had the opportunity to see all the barrels of wine up on the racks aging for bottling in our Barrel Hall, this is an experience in itself. The beautiful smell upon entering the cellar is breathtaking.”
