Bike affair at Warralily Market
The first Warralily Market for 2018 is centered around bike safety and awareness. The market will take place on April 29 from 10am until 2pm at Mirambeena Park on Warralily Boulevard, Armstrong Creek with families encouraged to embrace the bike safety theme and ride their bikes along to the market.
There will be a best-dressed bike competition with fantastic prizes and displays plus entertainment and competitions based around bicycles, bike safety and the role bikes play within the family environment.MC “Mick” will bring a unicycle, mini-bicycle and penny farthing – he will do three 30-minute roving sessions on his bikes, as well as running kids through the road rules on Mirambeena Park’s mini-road system.Kids can decorate their bikes at the “Pimp my Ride” bike decorating marquee and in keeping with the theme, there’s a bike-powered smoothie-maker.
The market will include the traditional handmade crafts, wares and produce from over twenty talented local artisans. Plus, yummy treats including Rockin Donuts, Twisty Taters, Sidewalk Cantina Mexican cuisine and delicious slow-cooked lamb from Lamb Marinade
