Caroline Chee bases care on you
Osteopath Caroline Chee
Nestled into the heart of the Jan Juc shopping strip, is Karunamaya Medicine (KMM): an extraordinary multi-disciplinary clinic, which has been bringing exceptional healthcare, help and guidance to its patients for over a decade, and which forms part of the fabric of the Surf Coast community.
And I have been lucky enough to be resident osteopath here for the past nine years, helping patients to deal with pain, postural issues and injury.
A little about me
I moved to the Surf Coast nine years ago, drawn by the ocean, and my love of surfing. Pretty original story around here! I am now blessed to get to share this love with my own little grommet, Arabella. In my oodles of spare time, I enjoy a laugh, surfing, yoga and meditating. And osteopathy. I love osteopathy!
The values that are central to KMM are embodied in the care that I bring to my patients.
Patient-centred care – meaning that the care you get is not based on a formula, but is about you.
Holistic care – this phrase gets bandied about a lot. Let me explain what it means to you. It is about how your skeleton, nerves, muscles, circulation and internal organs work together and function as a “holistic” (there’s that word!) unit. It is about how all the aspects that make up you, come together. It is relevant to you, because this affects how you feel, and how your body functions in your day-today life.
Osteopaths are well trained (a five-year double degree for me) and are required to keep up with a whole bevvy of guidelines and professional education to keep you safe.
